This is Ashley G and her brother, Jason. She’s in town for his graduation ceremony and asked me to snap some photos of them as a gift to their mom for Mother’s Day. We met up over at the Guthrie and ran around for about 25 minutes before I had to head off to work. This shot isn’t great (totally overexposed) but these guys are just so quintessentially THEM in this photo that I can’t help but love it.

Hey! Look! It’s two of my very favorite people (and fellow #teamphotoblog participants), Leslie and Eric! We met up downtown for a food truck lunch at Smack Shack and the meal we each had was AMAZING. Lobster rolls all around. We’ll definitely have to do it again! (Oh! Leslie posted a great close-up of Eric’s sandwich. Click on her name up there to see!)
That, my friends, is a terrible picture of Paul Simon, whose lovely and amazing show I went to at First Ave on Tuesday night.

Tacos, chips and guac, the El Camino… Sunday nights at the Aster Cafe are my new favorite.
Oh man. Yesterday was the LONGEST DAY EVER. It was my second to last day at the museum, the second to last day of Art in Bloom, the second to last day of the Titian exhibit, it was raining, AND I was working in coat check. I still haven’t recovered. My feet are a swollen and battered semblance of their former selves.
After work today, I rushed home to let out, feed, and love on the dogs that I’m currently pet-sitting. I loooove them. Lots and lots. After taking a lovely nap with them while a few snow flakes fell outside, I woke up starrrrrving and so headed to the Aster for Taco Night. YUM, you guys. So good. Especially their Margarita-inspired drink, the El Camino. You know what you’re doing next Sunday, don’t you? And who knows, maybe you’ll see me there!
(This is photo #1 for Margaret’s photo challenge. See more by searching for the #teamphotoblog hashtag on the Twitters. I’m so excited to see what everyone else comes up with during the project!)
