Hi all! I’ve spent the last two months preparing to move, moving, and recovering from the move.

A quick rundown: I decided on July 1st to move to Barcelona. I sold most of my furniture in late July, and sold the rest at the end of August. The first two weeks of August were crazy — I had several (5!) house guests staying with me, was shooting the MN Fringe Fest, and was working more than full time at my day job. I made it through that crazy time though, and moved out of my apartment on the 25th of August and am now staying at my parent’s house. I flew to Chicago on the 30th for a meeting with the Spanish consulate and flew back the next day. Cross your fingers for me! I’m hoping my student visa application is approved. I’ve spent the past week organizing the things that I didn’t sell or throw away or donate, in addition to doing all the other things that I usually do during the week (work, happy hour, concerts, editing, etc.).

I’m in the process of switching over from my old (trusty, rusty) laptop to a (bright, shiny) new (refurbished) laptop so once I get everything organized as far as that goes, I’ll post some hi-res photos here too. For now, check out the TCDP links. The Daily Planet is pretty awesome, and most of my photos up there are accompanied by awesome reviews by good friends of mine.

I’m also entertaining the idea (again) of updating this blog. Anyone want to help me with that? I’ll love you forever!
